How the use of digital technology can benefit professionals in the workplace and organizations
Global digital plays a significant role in the current digital world. Professionals in the current business world need skills in modern technologies to achieve their organizational goals. Virtual communication skills, virtual globalization skills, socialization skills, collaboration skills are common skills that professionals need in the workplace and organizations. This paper discusses how technology usage at workplace benefits the professionals and organizations. Then, this essay outlines the various aspects of technology with respect to the communication, policymaking, and innovation and establishment of the digital workplace.
Firstly, digital technologies contribute to virtual meetings for the professionals in the workplace and transitions. The professionals can connect the members of their group, business, and shareholders with online virtual meetings. This strategy helps the professionals to benefit them with policy-making instantly (Sternard, 2020). In this pandemic situation, virtual global meeting helps the directors to determine their plans and actions even if the government announced a locked-down situation. Digital technology and its approach benefits the professionals in making a good communication flow so that they connect the remote members from the office building and vacant employees (Sternard, 2020).
This is the blessing of the technological inventions of the internet and mobile, teleconferencing, videoconferencing, and Zoom meeting. The professionals connected over the internet can attend meeting from abroad too and the virtual digital meeting saves them tons of money (Sternard, 2020). They are benefitted from the technology at their workplace and business organization that help to save on the travel and real estate prices of maintaining a single oﬃce location. Independent Teams can be formed of the location of the individual team members (Sternard, 2020). The use of technological tools and support help the professionals to manage time for their family pastimes and holidays.
Secondly, through reducing travel, they can also contribute to a reduction in the organization’s ecological footprint and this happens for the use of virtual digital meetings (Sternard, 2020). The use of technology can improve the production rates and thus the professionals can be more productive. They can bring exceptional talent with complementary competencies together from all over the world and allow organizations to recruit the best people regardless of their physical location (Sternard, 2020).
Business professionals can access the global talent pool. Then, digital technologies bring opportunities for entrepreneurs in different ways. The business defined its functions of government and legal actions towards that by the technology. Various country’s business uses the eTIN (Electronic Tax Identification Number) to identify their online registered business and taxation history (Evens et al. 2019). Personal TIN introduces the persons to the tax authority. This approach of telecommunication helps the individuals to pay a tax of the personal income counted (Evens et al. 2019). Entrepreneurship business is helped by the different levels’ government administration worldwide. It counts the Economic vibrancy in the country by the business expert. Business entrepreneurship increases worldwide by the innovative approach of technology. Businesses are turned into online and entrepreneurs are double by the years. The technology defines the interior and exterior designs of the house with various digital devices and security that helps the entrepreneurs to develop the business (Briken et al., 2017). In 2013, the EU changes passed major law paten to encourage small and medium-sized entrepreneurship (SME) by 2020 3.7 million jobs created based on the 3% GDP expenditure and R&D. This approach is connected to technological development and thus technology benefits the business and professionals (Briken et al., 2017). Independence, technology transfer mechanisms, control and achievement are strong motivating factors environmental factors, incentives, policies, universities, motivations, technology transfer barriers and stimulants are common by the technological application development and these characteristics help the professionals in the organization (Briken et al., 2017).
Next, digital technologies support professionals in developing effective business strategies. The use of technology ensures the Virtual Learning Environment for the professional within the workplace or business organization. The professional use technological tools like internet-connected mobile phones or electronic devices to attend the remote training program that aims to develop their employability skills (Cottrell and Morris, 2012). By using technology in the workplace the managers can focus on the issues and not on the person. For effective communication and implementation of the technology benefits the business through innovation.
Being genuine rather than manipulative— Technology and its inventions forces the managers to be genuine process operations, styles of their approach to the customers and other investors rather than they are to be only the manipulator of the orders by the owners and directors (Briken et al., 2017). Empathize rather than remain detached— the marketers understand their customer needs and ensure payment correctly to the suppliers that they want to be connected to the stakeholders by applying the modern approach of social connecting application and community group over technology. Be flexible towards others— the managers are aware of the employees, their physical conditions to keep the environment reliable and safe. They in this regard use temperature and a hit of the body. They are very flexible to the other personnel (Briken et al., 2017).
Digital technologies also help businesses to bring innovation and creativity to their products and services. Positive economic beneﬁts: particularly in employment, Taxation, revenue and economic positive benefits are gained through the enhanced innovation in the workplace by the professionals. Innovation is necessary for the business and this innovation increases rapidly in recent ages. The modern application of science and technology enables marketers to use various tools to innovate ideas in the business profession. The marketers use calculators, computers, machines, and other modern engines at the workplace to lessen loads of works by the employees (Cottrell and Morris, 2012). The Triple Helix Model: This model is used to define the 3 components and their roles in business innovation. The marketers use the model to identify the process functions and make benefits by the professionals (Cottrell and Morris, 2012). The professionals at the different levels are enabled to gain knowledge of technology by the academic factor. The government helps the professionals to know and use the technology in their workplace.
Virtual socialization skills: The technology usage at the workplace ensures the socialization skills development of the professionals. Customer care employees can interact with their customers through online applications and digital devices (Evens et al., 2019). This approach enables the marketer’s innovative power to make changes and segment of their business and products. Virtual collaboration skills: the use of technology and digital tools of communication can increase the business collaboration about franchise and agent business. The dealership business thus helps the professionals in the workplace (Evens et al., 2019).
Further, digital technologies help businesses like Tesco and other big companies to develop digital workplaces by adopting several steps to use technology at their office to help their personnel. The professionals use Smarter computers, and robots, smart bracelet in the workplace (Cottrell and Morris, 2012). The use of cloud technologies helps professionals to engage in freelancing and outsourcing. Internet of Things, new robotic approaches, wearable computing and other technologies help the professional to manage the workbook and duties and perform the best (Evens et al., 2019). Advanced manufacturing techniques, digital manufacturing techniques, the smart factory ensure the digital workplace.
In summary, digital technology covers all the procedural entrepreneurship actions. Technology entrepreneurs comprise the entrepreneurial process, company formation, and technology focus. Technological and scientiﬁc growths are the basic core actors in every recent organization process and methodology with respect to global business and production systems. Technological entrepreneurs offer entrepreneurial activities through various stages like access to talent, research that comprises commercialized or incorporated is practically connected to their product or service, and making formal connections with universities.
