2.3 Evaluate the overall impact of recent changes in health and social care
Impact of recent changes on government
Daft, (2013) stated that the changes in the organization also affect the users of health and care services as well as the government. By this change, LAD can use the resources properly and their performance December increase that helps to increase the GDP of the country and improve the overall position of the country.
Impact of recent changes on workers in services
Huber (2016) stated that Worker satisfaction is one of the most important factors to increase the performance of the organization. The staffs’ satisfaction depends on the working environment, proper salary, and upper management behavior with them. A firm can’t be successful without the satisfaction of staff. So, to bring out the objectives, LAD can arrange some functions to meet the staff’s demand and make them satisfied.
The staff is experienced with new methods, procedures, and commands. Thus, they are worried about their activities and faced lots of constraints to perform activities effectively and efficiently. In return, the performance level of December reduces that will create conflicts among staff. To remove this situation, proper motivation will require the staff of the LAD (Parker, 2017).Impact of recent changes on users
(Cochran, 2014) stated that the changes in the organization also affect the users of health and care service as well as LAD. Users are able to get better quality services at a reasonable price that helps to attain the customers and increase customer satisfaction. The user’s health situation, life quality, and other factors will be improved by the recent change (Parker, 2017).

Positive Impact
Changes in government
Daft (2013) said that changes in the healthcare organization including LAD affect its users, care service, and government. LAD can use different resources by this change and their better performance helps to maximize the GDP of a country and improve the overall situation of a country. UK government has been bringing major changes in healthcare. Most importantly, NHS (National Health Services) has undergone massive and rapid changes due to the current government initiatives. NHS has reformed its activities by focusing on the competitive market, opportunities of private companies, and privatizing health care services. These changes have affected integrated and accountable care, transformation, sustainability and transformation partnership, and the Health and Social Care Act of 2012 (NHS, 2019). The major changes in the NHS activities are positively affecting the national solidarity, values of equity, and universalism that has, in turn, impact the other health and social care organizations including LAD.
Changes on workers in services
Huber (2016) said that employee satisfaction is a significant factor to improve business performance. According to the case scenario, LAD moved to independent and supported community based living from the residential care home. Thus, LAD can bring a number of functions to meet the demands of the staff because the staff is experienced with different new processes for this change. So, LAD can take different initiatives to motivate its staff to this change. In this case, LAD can develop different rewards and incentive systems such as increasing salaries, bonus, holidays, sick payment, maternity and paternity, and insurance facilities. In addition, staff should be always towards the changes brought in the workplaces………………
