CSR activities are getting popular day by day and nowadays many businesses are giving more focus on CSR activities for having a good image in front of the consumers. Effective CSR activity also helps the company to raise the profit margin. It is the social duty of the company to ensure the well-being of the country and the people of the country. For that reason, the company has to conduct different CSR activities. Different factors of CSR activities will be discussed in this report.
2.0 Literature review
2.1 What is a literature review?
A literature review is known as a systematic process of analyzing the book and articles and sources that are related to the topic. The literature review will help to give proper knowledge about the topic. The literature review will help to criticize the current literature to make justification for the research by making gaps in the existing research (Kothari and Garg, 2016). The investigation will give a summary, description, and will help to do an evaluation of the work that is related to the problem of the research. These also need to be added to the overall knowledge of the topic and need to show how the research will be fit for the big study of the field (Baden, 2016).
It is important that the literature review needs to offers a critical analysis of the existing research of a specific topic and the analysis has to be directed towards the objective of the research (Saunders et al., 2014). The literature review will not be the same as a book review or the process of an annotated bibliography and will hold different scope and purpose. According to the requirement of the assignment, the literature review can be short or long. One can easily prepare a good literature review by giving focus to the process (Kothari and Garg, 2016).
There will be a summary of key sources in the literature review but in social science, the literature review will contain a pattern of organization and will merge both summary and synthesis sometimes with a conceptual category (Saunders et al., 2014). The term summary refers to the review of the information which is important on the other hand synthesis refers to the process of rearranging information in a way that will help to inform about the planning to figure out the problem of the research.

2.2 What does a literature review achieve?
A literature review has some purpose which will be discussed in this part of the report. A literature review helps to give an explanation of the old material or making a combination with the new and old materials and also helps to trace the succession of the intellectual field by doing arguments (Saunders et al., 2014). With the help of a literature review, one can make an evaluation of the sources and giving advice to the readers by providing concern to the situation and finding out the gaps that are existed in the problems of the research while making the conclusion of the literature review (Kothari and Garg, 2016). Also, the literature review places the work in a way to have an understanding of the problem of the research. The literature review also helps to do a description of the relationship of each research work with others and finds out new ways of interpreting research. Also, the literature review flashes out gaps that are presented in the literature and also helps to solve the conflict that is presented in the previous studies. Lastly, the literature review helps to find out the area of scholarship to prevent the effort of copying and the way to fulfill the need for additional research.

On the other hand, the social marketing concept gives focuses on the CSR views from the perspective of its impact on society.
