According to Wheeler (2017), branding is a technique that is used in making a unique name and image for the products of a business to the mind of the customers. The term ‘Branding’ mainly aims to create a differentiated and effective existence in a marketplace that retains as well as attracts loyal consumers (Johnson, 2016). In addition, branding is a process which is applied by the businesses to make products or the company’s desired image in the customers’ mind.

As Lacy (2016) notes, a process of creating a public identity to get the attention of the target audience is referred to as personal branding.
