Every business works by a group of people who succeed and develop the business to the whole world. To run those businesses accurately, many business theories and techniques help to establish a maintainable judgment for all (Rooney, 2018). This case study on British American Tobacco will talk about the organizational theories and techniques that it has pursued over the year until the big falling down of the company. The style of management, the organizational culture, leadership style, effects of power, influence and conflict, various types of motivation used at British American Tobacco, appropriate corporate examples and literature to justify the stand, recommendations (strategies) to increase organizational performance all are discussed in this essay.

According to James (2019), it is a stable method of handling a business company and its employees and people by planning, organizing, controlling and directing.
The CEO of British American Tobacco is Jack Bowles. He has followed the management style of Henry Fayol. By following this management style, Bowles has separated the activities of British American Tobacco for achieving the goal with ability. According to Kite (2019), he confirmed the authority and duties of tasks to the group or team to understand their duties and responsibilities. The system, consistency of order, consistency of advice also is imitated diligently.

Organizational functions of management: Every manager should have the quality of being the master of his organizational function. Jack Bowles is very good at the management of organizational functions in British American Tobacco.
