Introduction

This assignment’s key aim is to manage as well as develop a business project successfully whereas the title of this business project is “Create and market brand-new summer shoes of Bata to compete with the big-name brands”. The first section of this assignment explains the aim and objectives and background of the proposed project. The second section of this assignment explains the scope, cost, quality and time, communication, resource and budget of this proposed project.  The third section of this assignment creates a WBS and Gantt chart for this proposed project. The fourth section of this assignment provides a literature review related to this proposed project where the fifth section analyses the research techniques and data analysis for this proposed project. The sixth section of this assignment provides recommendations for this proposed project. At the end of this paper, a reflection is provided regarding the outcome and findings of this project.

1.0 Project aims and objectives

Project background

According to Palmer (2016), marketing means the activities which are taken by a business organization to influence customers towards its products and services. According to Mittal and Sheth (2014), brand awareness refers to the level of customer cognizance about a brand and its products in the market. In the process of production and promotion of the products and services in the domestic and international market, one of the essential steps in brand awareness programs. A number of shoe companies including Bata are managing their marketing and branding strategies to market their brand new summer shoes to compete with the big-name brands.

1.1  Research problem

Bata is an international and famous shoe company that conducts its business operations in different global markets including. Its business is growing up with the increased sales revenue, profit margin, and market share. However, it is facing several challenges and difficulties in the way of marketing and branding new summer shoes in the competitive marketplace. This proposed project will analyze how Bata create and market its brand new summer shoes to compete with the big-name brands.

In addition, the finding of this research provides recommendations for Bata to increase the effectiveness of its marketing and branding systems to create and market its brand new summer shoes.

Therefore, Bata is trying to improve its marketing and branding strategy. Different marketing and branding strategies are used by Bata to market and brand its brand new summer shoes.

    2.2 Estimated costs and resources for this project

This project aims to create and market brand-new summer shoes of Bata to compete with the big-name brands. The estimated cost will be £250,000.00 for the proposed project.
