Introduction
Organizational behavior is the study of both group and individual performance and activity within an organization. Internal and external perspectives are two theories of how organizational behavior can be viewed by companies. Organizational behavior (OB) is the study of the way people interact within groups. Normally this study is applied in an attempt to create more efficient business organizations.
This report focuses on four major tasks. The first tasks discuss the comparison of the organizational structure and the culture of Apple and HP. It also focuses on the relationship between Apple‘s structure and cultural impacts. It also reports on the factors which influence individual behavior in Apple. The second task emphasizes the comparison of different leadership styles in several companies. It also reports on the several management practices in the two organizations as well as discusses the theory underpins which relates to their management procedures. It also explains the several management styles used in different several companies. The third task discusses several leadership styles that may have on motivation in organizations in periods of change. It also focuses on the comparison of several motivational theories within the workplace. The four tasks discuss the characteristics of groups as well as group behavior within Apple. It also reports on the impact of technology on team functioning within Apple.

Organizational structure
According to Huczynski and Buchanan (2015), organization structure refers to the conventional system of tasks and in forming relationships that control, coordinates and persuades employees so that they do the job together to attain organizational objectives. There are key organizational structures: matrix, hierarchical, and flat.
Hierarchical/tall structure
In a hierarchical organization structure, employees are grouped with every employee having one clear supervisor. This structure is based on a few factors such as functions, geography, product, etc. This is the dominant model among large organizations. For example Corporations, Governments, and organized religions are hierarchical organizations with different levels of management, power or authority (Creately, 2015).

Matrix
In a matrix organizational structure, the reporting relationships are set up as a grid, or matrix, rather than in the traditional hierarchy. It is a type of organizational management in which people with similar skills are pooled for work assignments, resulting in more than one manager to report to (Creately, 2015).

Horizontal/flat
This kind of structure is mostly adopted by small companies and start-ups in their early stage. It’s almost impossible to use this model in larger companies with many projects and employees. The most important thing about this structure is that many levels of middle management are eliminated. This enables employees to make decisions quickly and independently (Creately, 2015).

Organizational culture
Organizational culture is the combination of values, traditions, beliefs, policies, and attitudes that integrates a pervasive framework for all employees in organizations (Mc Lean and Marshall, 2013). According to Huczynski and Buchanan (2011), there is four kinds of cultures are used in organizations, which are discussed as follows:
Power Culture
A type of organizational culture wherein the central figure exercises power on a personal basis commonly found in the small entrepreneurial organization and relies on trust, recognition and personal communications to be more effective.
