Task 1.1 Compare the different types of document that could be used to present business information

The document is referred to as a written scripture that contains any kinds of information, data, statistics, reports, surveys, accounts, laws and legislation, and any sorts of thoughts and views social laws, religious rules. There are many kinds of documents that exist along with their usage and purposes. This is very seen from a business perspective maintaining business data or accounts all over the world. Here in below some examples are noted:

Printed Document

Agenda

Agenda means things to be done. It is usually sent along with the notice of the meeting. It is a list of the topics to be discussed in a meeting. Sometimes the agenda is prepared after the circulation of the notice in order to include the member’s opinion. If the subject matter of the meeting in secret, the agenda may not be circulated. So, the agenda is items or issues prepared by the secretary and which are to be discussed or transacted in a forthcoming mitten.

Press-releases

A press release, news release, media release, press statement, or video release is a written or recorded communication directed at members of the news media for the purpose of announcing something ostensibly newsworthy. Typically, they are mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to assignment editors and journalists at newspapers, magazines, radio stations, online media, television stations, or television networks.

Electronic Document

Electronic Mail

Electronic mail (email) is a digital mechanism for exchanging messages through the Internet or intranet communication platforms. Email messages are relayed through email servers, which are provided by all Internet service providers (ISP). Emails are transmitted between two dedicated server folders: sender and recipient. A sender saves, sends or forwards email messages, whereas a recipient reads or downloads emails by accessing an email server.

Web Sites

A website is a collection of publicly accessible, interlinked Web pages that share a single domain name. Websites can be created and maintained by an individual, group, business, or organization to serve a variety of purposes. Together, all publicly accessible websites constitute the World Wide Web. A website is also known as a web presence.

Analysis charts

Charts are simply graphical representations of a series of prices over time. For example, a chart might show a stock’s price movement over a one-year period where each point represents an individual day’s closing price. Or, a chart might show a commodity’s price movement over a period of just one hour with each point representing one second

Formal and Informal Document

Memoranda

A memorandum is a note, document, or other communication that helps the memory by recording events or observations on a topic such as may be used in a business office. The plural form of the Latin noun memorandum so derived is properly memoranda, but if the word is deemed to have become a word of the English language, the plural memorandums, abbreviated to memos, may be used.

Letters

Letters are brief messages sent to recipients that are often outside the organization (Bovee, C., & Thill, J., 2010). They are often printed on letterhead paper and represent the business or organization in one or two pages. Shorter messages may include e-mails or memos, either hard copy or electronic, while reports tend to be three or more pages in length…………………
