The business environment includes each environmental factor which needs to be reflective and adequate to enlarge and incorporate a reputed and significant business organization. In this respect, it is to be mentioned that environmental factors include political, social, legal, and economic factors and these factors reflect and affect business perspectives of significant business organizations that help the employers and employees to work in a highlighted manner and with concentration.
But, on the other hand, if environmental factors are not influential or reflective, business perspectives of the respective organisation may fall and they never are able to rise up their business segmentation. The thesis statement of this assignment study is to analyze business purpose, ownership of two contrasting businesses, their environmental factors, stakeholders, economic environments, and so on.
Overview of Unilever: Unilever is a profitable organization and was founded in 1930 by Antonius Johannes Jurgens, William Liver, and so on (Unilever global company website. 2017). This is a worldwide company and sells foods, cleaning products, and other goods to its customers. The headquarters of this company is situated in the Netherlands, London.
Overview of Christians Against Poverty: Christians Against Poverty is a charity and not-for-profit organization (Poverty, C. 2017). This was founded in 1996 by John Kirkby. It is situated in Bradford, Yorkshire.

Business purpose and ownership of Unilever: Unilever is basically a joint recognition of NV and Unilever PLC. It owns 400 brands in all but it focuses on 13 brands mostly for customers’ satisfaction and business segmentations. Regarding its brands, Heart brand ice creams, Knorr, Sunsilk, Surf, and Rexona are highlighted. It is to be informed that a profitable organization incorporates a great distinction from the non-profitable organization, which varies its customers’ demands and conditions synonymously (Burden et al. 2014, p.14).
Therefore, it is to be signified that this company must be positive and attractive in order to improve the quality condition of its products and goods which may provide a significant outcome to its customers. Otherwise, the management of this company cannot be able to increase the number of customers and their satisfaction, and thus, its market reputation will be deteriorating accordingly and economic condition will also be poor and deductive (Linder and Williander, 2015, p.140). The main aims and objectives of the business is to become the market leader in the retail business by gaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
There is another major aim of this company to extend its business around the world. Therefore, the company needs to be dedicated to reflect its management power and to design organizational planning significantly and rewardingly. The liability status is limited where the shareholder’s or owners’ personal belongings are safe in case of winding up of the business. As a plc, the shareholders are kind of owner but according to company act, they are liable for the loss or profit in the proportion of their investment or share but the company itself act as a separate entity and liable for of debt.
Business purpose and ownership of Christians Against Poverty: Christians Against Poverty is a not-for-profit organization and basically, its main focus is to help the English people and also its other respective consumers regarding debt and other financial irrespective conditions as well. Thus, this company cannot be owned by any respective person or people. This organization is a public benefit and therefore, it is accordingly public property as well.
Another significant point of this company should be included that this company’s only target is to help its customers in great procedures (Storey et al. 2014, p.626). But, as this is a charitable organization, there occur so many investors and the working procedures of this company continue with the economy and finance of the investors adequately. In this respect, it should be highlighted that this company has a partnership with a local Christian Church. As it is a charity or non-profit organization the liability status is kind of different than normal profit business, the board of trustees are responsible for their actions related to managing the money of the donors. As an organization, they have limited liability status.

As per PR Officer, to represent the influencing attitudes of various stakeholders of two contrasting businesses, the reflection of every stakeholder has been reflected below:
Stakeholders of Unilever: According to the new PR Officer, it has been informed that as this company is a profitable organization, stakeholders of this company have a large contrast than non-profitable organizations (Voeten et al. 2015, p.289).
Suppliers: Chief function of suppliers is to supply products to companies including Unilever Company as well. In this respect, it must be highlighted that if the company can be able to provide payment in time or before time, suppliers will supply respective products to the company in a highly responsible way.
Employees: An employee is a person who generally works under the executive level that is employed by another to do a service, especially for salary or wages. Employees can make their income by working in an organization. Unilever wants to make sure well incentives or salaries, working environment, several safety issues that motivate the staff to retain in the organization. In the question time session, employees are permitted to provide their feedback on reviews. Unilever has an employee forum which concentrates on the wants of their employees and satisfaction of employees with their effort
Shareholders: A shareholder owns business perspectives of a respective organization and it is declared by the PR Officer of this company. In this respect, it must be evaluated that its shareholders help the management of this company by providing some products from their companies and receives sharing a percentage of profit or benefit of Unilever as well.
