Introduction
This coursework is based on two organizations one is a profitable organization in the UK and the other one is a non-profitable organization in China. Pret A Manger is a profitable organization in the UK. Pret operates a bit like a restaurant. It builds kitchens in every shop. Customers will not find ‘sell-by’ dates on their fresh sandwiches and salads. Its milk and coffee are 100% organic. It offers unsold food to charity at the end of each day rather than keeping it to sell the next day. In 1986, Pret opened the doors of its very first shop. It is a shop with a mission.
A mission to create, handmade, natural food, avoiding the obscure chemicals, additives, and preservatives common to so much of the ‘prepared’ and ‘fast’ food on the market today. A fresh and healthy menu greeted our first customers and our good, natural food crusade had begun (Pret A Manger, 2018). The China Disabled Persons’ Federation, also known as the CDPF, is a national organization for individuals with disabilities in China established in China in March 1988, aiming to represent and safeguard the rights and interests of disabled people. This is a non-profitable organization in China.
The predecessors of the CDPF are the China Association for the Blind and Deaf, established in 1960, and the China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped established in 1984. The three basic functions of the CDPF are to represent the interests of people with disabilities in China and help protect their legitimate rights, to provide them with comprehensive and effective services, and to supervise affairs relating to people with disabilities commissioned by the Chinese government. The emblem of the CDPF looks like a plum flower that features prominently in Chinese art and culture. With its motto “humanity, probity, service, and contribution” the CDPF has helped many disabled persons

P2 Describe the different stakeholders who influence the purpose of two contrasting organizations
A stakeholder is a party that has an interest in a company and can either affect or be affected by the business. The primary stakeholders in a typical corporation are its investor employees and customers. However, the modern theory of the idea goes beyond this original notion to include additional stakeholders such as a community, government, or trade association. In a border sense, stakeholders of a big company may include Suppliers, Labor Union, Government regulatory agencies, and Government legislative bodies, Government tax-collecting agencies, Industry Trade Group, Professional Association, NGOs, and other advocacy groups. Stakeholders may have both positive and negative impacts on business performance (Kotler, 2015).
