The purpose of this study is to obtain examples of how companies have been actively involved in the health and safety of their employees (Ramsey, 2016). The selected organization for this assignment is Ocado. This assignment focuses on four key tasks. The first task of this assignment explains the legal requirements and regulations for ensuring the health, safety, and security of those employed in the business. The second task describes the requirements for a healthy and safe workplace, as applied to the physical environment and equipment used in Ocado. The third task explains the roles and responsibilities for the health and safety of key personnel in Ocado. Ocado employees need to take reasonable precautions to protect others in the workplace as they do. Businesses like the Citizens Advice Bureau will have an impact on the Health and Safety Act of 1974 because it will force them to ensure that the building they are working on meets health and safety standards.
