Abstract
It is proved that better study skills can bring better outcomes for the students to make sure a bright future. Study skills like reading skills related to time management, understanding the gist, positive-minded, skimming and scanning and written skills are proper and abundant sources, effective referencing, clear structure and uses of grammar and spelling. To be brilliant students they have to concern about these.

1.0 Introduction
Adaptive and appropriate Study skills make the students’ academic career more smooth and create the chance to become successful. Study skills like reading and writing skills are greatly dependent on numerous strategies to ensure better performance of the students (Lee, 2017). In this paper, the strategies for enhancing reading skills are described in the first section. Secondly, some important approaches to improving written skills are discussed and lastly, some key recommendations are added.

2.1 Strategies of enhancing reading skills for the students
Usually, the first condition to become a literate person has the ability to reading skills. Proper reading skills can open lots of chances to making good academic results and gain a good impression for the students from their teachers (Paul, 2019). Among the numerous strategies, some strategies are really most important to enhance the better reading abilities. The introduction and importance of these strategies are as follows.
Predicting content
Predicting plays a significant approach to increase the reading ability of the students through the prediction of the text core ideas and context used on retaining knowledge and information (Pagge, 2018). Predicting process helps learners to explore the new ideas, meanings and thoughts about their lessons and particular reading topics and make them crystal clear. The students can capable to better understanding and more learning about the text context when they have some knowledge and capability to make predictions about the case study (Max, 2018). Good knowledge aids to better prediction and maximum times it is reliable with the particular reading content that is very helpful for the students to boost their confidence level and become a good student. If their predictions don’t match with the actual reading content then learners can realize their faults and correct them in the right ways for better improvement.
Reading for gist
The word of gist consists of the meaning of the main idea and concept of the reading passage. There are several rules are established for understanding the gist. The students should read the comprehension very properly and emphasizes each and every detailed item and should not waste more time to find out the unknown words (Max, 2018). They have to look forward that may ensure their success with a clear understanding of the reading article.
Skimming
Sometimes students don’t have enough time to read their reading article in more detail and much more carefully. In this situation, the skimming process is most adopted. Skimming can be introduced within a new idea where students can read their passage more quickly and urgently and try to skip the difficult terms and vocabulary and figure out the main meaning of the passage (Paul, 2019). Normally in this process, they cannot able to gain a clear concept about the passage rather than superficial ideas.
