Individuals vs. Collectivism
Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory discusses the individuals and collectivism that have a great influence on society. A culture that emphasizes the importance of individual space to achieve individual goals and collectivism depends on the achievements of the group that related to the individual reputation. There are two main ways to understand the relationship between individuals and collectivism. The first is personalization, which says that every person is working on their own, creating their own preferences and since they communicate with the rest of the group, as an individual. Collectivism is the second way, and as it becomes the group’s initial, instantly lost along with the individuals.
Power distance
Power distance is one of the most important parts that should be analyzed for society and conducting business properly. It mainly is the measurement factors that evaluate the less and high powerful member of the organization and their realization about that. Power distance is an abstract substance that cannot able to measure the power distribution of the members but figure out their feelings regarding that (David, 2017). Less power- distance denotes that the power distribution will be equal among the members of the organization that is democratic and high power distance denotes that the power distribution will be unequal. So, understanding the power distance is most important.
