1.0 Introduction
Atrill (2019) defined that Personal development refers to the growth of individual skills that makes a person more efficient in real-life situations. Professional development enables an individual to increase their acceptability as an employee (Atrill, 2019). This assignment focuses on constructing a PPD plan for me. How it can be beneficial is also described. In the later section, some models have been applied for self-evaluation and reflective learning. Then, an action plan for self-development is constructed using a Gantt chart.
2.0 PPD Plan
2.1 Define PPD
PPD can be elaborated as a Personal and Professional Development Plan. According to McLaney (2018), PPD refers to a gradual development plan of gaining theoretical and professional skills and dividing the career goal into several objectives for a better formation of the program. The objectives must be achievable within the predicted period of time to have maximum feasibility.
2.2 PPD Planning Process
McLaney (2018) mentioned that PPD is a continuous process of self-improvement. Therefore, the development plan can be divided into several phases. Some of the critical stages are noted here. First, a person must set up a definite goal he wishes to achieve through his PPD. Then, the learner should then point out the areas where he needs to improve and the opportunities the learner has through those skills. It will help the learner organize an action plan, which is the next step for achieving his cherished goal. After constructing the action plan, the implementation phase takes place. One should follow a case-by-case approach to go along with the development plan. Throughout the implementation process, there should be a progress record to measure and evaluate the improvement process. Evaluation is the final phase of PPD which gives a discrete insight on how the person has performed according to his plan and how much improvement he has achieved.

Short-run goals | The skill that I need to gain in a relatively short time is the ability to communicate with people effectively. Medium run goals | I perform well while working on individual tasks. When it comes to collaborating with others and leading a team, I lack the ability to manage the job. To overcome this barrier, I have to train and educate myself about leadership and work more on leadership tasks to gather experience. |
Long run goals | For long-term improvement, I have to work on innovative thinking and solving issues in a creative way. The modern fast-paced world requires innovative solutions to problems. Therefore, I got to learn and apply creative thinking to my performance. |

Justification
While planning my short-term, medium-term and long-term goals, I gathered information about my improvement needs. According to those needs, I sorted them and prioritized the ones that are most needed. My primary weakness was a lack of communication and presentation skills. For that, I approached people more frequently starting from familiar ones and gradually moving towards unknown persons. I tried to express myself formally and efficiently to boost up my presentation skill. I have started to work in a team and dedicated myself to leading the team to success. Lastly, innovative thinking is a process that takes time to master. Thus, I set it as my long term goal………………….
