Organizational behavior (OB) refers to understanding, explaining, and improving behaviors and attitudes of peoples in an origination. Organizational behavior has a close interconnection with human resource management and strategic management. Human resource management focuses on principles and theories studied in OB as well as explores the detailed applications of these principles in the organization. OB study examines the relationship between job performance and learning, where human resource management (HRM) explores the ways to conduct training and development programs to promote people’s learning. Strategic management emphasis organization characteristics and product choices and it explore the relationship between firm profitability and diversification (McGraw-hill, 2013).

According to Huczynski (2010), organizational structure refers to a set of strategies as well as policies to share value for achieving a particular organization’s goals. There many kinds of organizational structures: functional structure, divisional structure, matrix structure, hybrid structure, individual structure, bureaucratic structure, and enterprise structure.
In a functional structure, each part of the organization is a group according to its purposes. This structure is suitable for small organizations with multiple departments.
