4.1 Identify risk within your place of work
My workplace name is McDonald. This is the most famous and biggest fast-food chain industry in the UK. I have been working in this hotel for the previous six years. There are several risk hazards in my workplaces where the fire is one of them (McDonald, 2018)
Every year different workplace fires cause not only severe damage to resources and assets but also death and injury. In the United Kingdom, there were 23,140 non-residential fires recommended in 2013-2014, with an important amount of these happening fires in the workplace. Though there are various reasons why these causing fires to break out, several are because of carelessness as well as might be prohibited with more attention and care (Nicola, 2017). They should also never block firefighting equipment, emergency exits, or sprinklers and monitor authorization when stacking materials (Zurich, 2017).
Clutter gives fire fuels and prevents access to fire exits and emergency tools. McDonald should keep its workplace from clutter and appropriately and make sure that valuable and important equipment and materials and other materials are accurately stored (Zurich, 2017)
Proper Waste Disposal
McDonald should throw away fire hazards, for example, oily rags or oil substances by locating them in various containers and cleaning them on a regular basis (McDonald, 2018)
McDonald’s should ensure cooking equipment in their workplace are accurately managed and maintained in order to stop friction sparks and overheating.
Precautions in Explosive Atmospheres
