Question1: What are the core principle of a project and why are they important?
The project refers to finite and specific activities that provide a measurable and observable outcome meeting certain requirements. According to Epstein (2015), a project has a number of core principles or characteristics. First, every project is unique, once-off activity, one-time, and never to be repeated. Secondly, every project has end-item or result and single definable purpose in case of performance requirements, cost and schedule. Thirdly, every project is a temporary activity. Fourthly, the project cuts across the organizational lines. Fifthly, the project involves unfamiliarity. Sixthly, the project managers usually have something at stake during project work. Finally, a project is recognized as the process of gaining particular goals. Defining the project principle and characteristics are important for completing the project successfully and to gain the project goals and objectives on time.
