3.0 Various leadership styles and approaches

3.1 Leadership styles

Leadership style means a method or a process of a particular person who encourages and leads his group or team in any kind of work (Ross, 2017). There are five kinds of leadership styles. These are:

Autocratic Leadership

Autocratic leadership means the process characterized by specific control on every part of the work and some little input from team members. Frinkle (2018) stated that this type of leader is always taking the decision of their own and very rarely take others and followers decisions.

Democratic Leadership

Democratic leadership styles mean a leader takes all kinds of advice from his group members and group members to have more participation in every decision making in work. All the workers or team members are motivated to share their ideas and creativity with their leaders and wait for their leader to say his final say (Frinkle, 2018).

Laissez-faire Leadership

Laissez-faire leadership means some leaders who take all kinds of decisions and give the right to the workers to make their own decisions in any work and also take correct workplace solutions. This leadership is exactly the opposite of autocratic leadership (Jack, 2019).

Transactional Leadership

Transactional leadership is known as one style of leadership because it only concentrates on observation, company organization or activities. It is also an undivided part of the Full Range Leadership Model. This type of leader values their decisions and forms. They mostly believed and depended on self-motivated people.

Transformational Leadership

Transformational leadership means the leader goes forward with his groups and works with his groups to find the required changes and make visions and goals according to his team members (Jack, 2019).

Besides, in complicated and exigency cases, the manager talks to the sub-ordinate or the workers and provides their thought to make decisions by following the autocratic leadership styles. Basically, Apple Inc managers are not free with their workers that are why they do not share their important information and they cannot let the workers apply their decision. The managers said to their workers just maintain the company laws and methods.

Moreover, every week after, Apple Inc uses surveys on their worker’s viewpoints. In this term, managers have followed a democratic leadership style because they communicate with their workers and let them do and decide their opinions and thoughts in making decisions. According to Pranay (2019), sometimes Apple Inc is followed the liaises-fair leadership style by motivating their workers and encouraging them, also, they call their workers and talk about their performances and correct them in their wrong ways. Besides, the manager of duty and the manager of the departmental store are liable to make their decisions. In addition, sometimes Apple Inc has also followed a transformational leadership style. Sometimes managers want and require containing any leading changes in the business performances, activities, and workforces (John, 2019)………………………
