Internal Contradictions of the Global System and Resource and Environmental Constraints (GC01412)
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to discuss the primary constraints of the continuation of globalization how might technology help to overcome these limits. Globalization is one of the most important topics in the modern era. This is because the progression world economy is very much dependent on it. However, there are some internal contradictions that are in the path of globalization. All of these internal contradictions are ended in a final decision that globalization is getting beneficial for a particular group of people who are becoming rich and rich day by day. Additionally, this paper has found that various environmental constraints are becoming great threats to globalization. The limitation of natural resources is a concern for the whole world as people will not find any solution about how to get rid of this problem. Another problem arises from the powerhouse of the world where the powerful countries are involving in a competition to take control over these resources which causes greater threats like war. However, many new technological sectors are introducing to speed up the process of globalization. Most importantly, with those newly invented technologies, people can find the solution to remove the environmental constraints and overcome the problems of globalization. In a word, globalization is necessary for the whole world for the improvement of the lifestyle of people. But, it is turning out to be the most effective one when people from all aspects will get the benefits of globalization. It is possible when the rich people will realize that it is important to share the happiness to all the people of the society for the wellbeing of society. This practice can give a peaceful and progressive society as well as a developed country.

1.0 Introduction
Globalization is the process of making interaction among the different countries of the world through various sectors like economy, culture, population, exchanging of goods and services, technological factors and other important factors (Shiva, 2015). Globalization is an old term as people made buying and selling process from each other at great distances for many years. Nowadays globalization uses particularly to express the international trading system but it definitely has an effect on the environment, culture, politics and the progress of the life of the people (Scholte, 2016). The powerhouse countries of the world refer to globalization as the process of developing the economy and the standards of living and releasing people out of poverty. But others have some different thoughts about globalization as by the starting of the discharged international free market, the multinational companies of the western world have only be benefited. Around the world, 1.2 billion people are still facing an extreme level of poverty which makes the concept of globalization a little controversial. But with all of these discussions globalization is needed for the world for spreading of products, technology, information etc (Daniele and Jonathan, 2015).
It increases the chance of getting jobs in other countries across the world. By taking the advantage of free trading, the countries improve their economic field. Globalization is not an easy process to progress though as there are constraints to the continuation of globalization (Bird and Kopp, 2019). It is necessary to understand those internal contradictions in the global system which affect the progression of globalization through the world. In this report, these internal contradictions are going to be discussed. Environmental constraints are also responsible for which globalization is not being up to the mark. These problems are briefly described in this report by which the reasons behind lacking globalization are clearly expressed (Scholte, 2016). It is necessary to realize these problems and the reasons which hamper globalization but for all the countries it is also important to find out the way to remove these constraints. There are some technological factors which can be applied by solving these problems and by doing that the whole world can get the advantages of globalization system. In the later part of this report, it is also discussed that how technology can help to overcome these limitations (Dermine, 2017).
2.0 Primary constraints to the continuation of globalization
2.1 Internal contradiction of the global system
According to Rodrik (2017), internal contradiction is a big threat to the progress of globalization. Internal contradiction can be described by dividing in two different ways. There are two contradictions in the globalized economy that can cause the globalization process badly. At first, there is the problem of creating an open market system which can bring some good things but on the other hand, it affects negatively for the wellbeing of the society. By trading openly, the system can successfully break internal oligopolies by which the business is not limited to some particular organization but it spreads its market quite largely and all other general business can also get a chance to expand their business (George, 2015). Foreign investment can clear the way of ending the vested interests. Export marketing is another sector by which the countries get profitable by earning money and also by using their natural and human resources properly. Workers can contribute to the economy of the country and also bring much more progress for their lives by earning, spending and saving more. According to Brown et al. (2016), shortage of welfare provision enforces the people and societies to think for the future and save for the future that in turn slow down the growth of the economy in the developing countries.
That is why Roxan (2012) suggested that it is essential to create a level playing field and open market to reduce the risks for domestic producers and create sustainable job markets. Governments, mainly in developing countries, need to take more comprehensive steps to reduce domestic pressures and increase important things such as health and safety issues, product quality and standards, tax policies and currency interventions. In this case, Rajaee (2017) argued that there is no need to determine national endowments and skills, and the losers and winners from globalization. For this reason, critics have some different opinions about globalization that a particular group gets all the advantages and become richer but the common people cannot find any benefit and their lifestyle is always in a stable position (James, 2016)……………………………….
