Introduction

In this paper; the impact of the cloud computing system on business is analyzed. At present; modern technology affects the functions of business organizations. Business organizations have required collecting, storing, managing, and sharing information effectively and efficiently because the success of the firms depends on it. For this reason; this research study firstly defines and discusses cloud computing and cloud storage. This study also discusses the different types of the cloud with their suitability for current businesses. This study also explains the difference between privacy and security briefly. In the final part of the study, the process of achieving a cloud or company’s cloud to be private and secured is described.

Cloud computing

Cloud computing is defined as the different services including software platforms, servers, and data storage techniques by using the internet. The main features of cloud computing include the hardware is \managed by a cloud vendor, and the cloud computing services are considered scalable. Virtualization is connected with cloud computing. The services include three types including infrastructure, platform, and software as a service. At present, it is used by most organizations for collecting, storing and managing data and information. it is considered the strongest method of collecting, storing, and managing data and information. An internet connection is required to use cloud computing services. It’s a powerful method to store and process the data. Some of the cloud computing systems include Netflix, Games and Google services, Maps, Photos, Facebook, BT Cloud, etc (Bone, 2019). Steam Cloud is one of the types of Games services and Google Drive is one of the types of Google services.

Cloud storage is considered a model of service by which data can be collected, stored, and managed and back up the data. The users can use the data from this cloud storage over the internet. This storage data is considered as the global data stored in the global data centers. In cloud storage, one can store documents, images and video clips, files, databases, contacts, archives, and music. The users are getting these things by using the internet from any remote place around the world. At present; most business organizations offer to the consumer BT Cloud storage. BT broadband gives a consumer 10GB, 200GB, or 1000GB free. This storage helps the consumers to store the files and important contacts as well as documents (Bouckley, 2019).
