Introduction

Human Resource Management (HRM) in a business plays a significant function in present company expression. Mullins (2015) stated that, therefore, it has been an important factor for the company businesses to recognize diverse cases of Human Resource Management as well as their submission in the business actions.

This assignment concentrates on diverse features of Human Resource Management from the viewpoint of two company associations, called “British Airways” as well as “Taz Store“. This assignment is grouped into four main tasks. The first part describes PM (Personal Management) as well as HRM (Human Resource Management) in the case of Virgin Group and Taz Store. The second part describes diverse features of staff selection or recruitment in terms of the Virgin Group or Taz Store. The third part describes the motivation or act scheme to inspire as well as keep the employees in Taz Store and British Airways. Lastly, the fourth part describes the methods of cessation of service in terms of an eatery, named the Chicken Master.

Task 01

What is HRM?

Human Resource Management (HRM) is a condition that defines the methods of a service organization in the business. As Torrington (2013) notes, the main liability of HR executives is service, defining as well as planning labor, or defining employee profits and motivation s.

What is PM?

PM (Personal Management) is called a usual method of monitoring the workers in the associations. This means the current method of PM is called HRM. As Torrington (2013) notes, the main roles of PM (Personal Management) are management, work relative, as well as a staff benefit.

Differences between HRM and PM

The differences between HRM and PM are defined in the table as follows:

HRM PM

HRM accepts workers as important and valuable resources to achieve predictable outcomes. PM accepts workers in an effort to achieve the expected outcomes.
HRM concentrates on the process of recruitment and selection, retention and acquisition, inspiration, maintenance, or development of the persons in the company. PM concentrates on the relationship between workers, the welfare of workers as well as employee administration in the company.
HRM is the updated version of controlling workers in the company. PM is the traditional method of controlling workers in the company.
Workers are given training and the design of the job is completed depended on the works of the team. Workers are given less training and designs of jobs are completed depended on worker divisions.
Functions of administration are done to gain the goals of the organization. Functions of personnel are done to achieve the satisfaction of workers.

Taz Store is a small business of entrepreneurship that does not have a particular department of PM or HRM to deal with employing appropriate workers and inspiring them by good procedures of rewards. The manager or owner is the Taz Store’s main leader that achieves the success of the business.
