Introduction
Human Resource Management presents an essential role in organizations to organize the performance of the staff. It is noted that an important issue for the growth of any business in the organizations is too empathetic the number of expressions of Human Resource Management. There is an important contribution to the implementation of Human Resource Management in any business of the organization (Mullins, 2014).
Various aspects of Human Resource Management will spotlight the point of view of ‘Tesco’ and ‘Emirates’. There are four main tasks to be discussed in this report. The first task of the report will focus to discuss Personal Management and Human Resource Management in relation to ‘Tesco’ and ‘Emirates’. It is to highlight in this section how Human Resource Management underpins ‘Tesco’ to achieve its goals. Line managers’ duties will be highlighted and their influence on Human Resource Management will be discussed as well.
Different features of the recruitment and selection process at Tesco will be discussed in the second part of the report i.e. task 2. Furthermore, there will be a discussion of the connection linking motivational theories and reward systems at Tesco and it is used to measure employees’ performance.
Lastly, the report will be concluded after the discussion of techniques of employment termination on the basis of the case study of the Chicken Master.

1.1 Difference between Personnel Management and HRM in case of Tesco and Emirate
Human Resource Management: Human Resource Management is the symmetrical approach to organize, hire, and train the people to produce maximum satisfaction in the organizations. HR managers design the roles of the staff to bring improvement to the organizations (Torrington, 2013).
Personal Management: Personal management administers a connection between the staff and their welfare. It is the traditional method to handle the workers at the workplace in the organizations (Torrington, 2013).

Differences between HRM and PM
Torrington (2013), disclosed the difference between HRM and PM as follows:
- Human Resource Management is stated as the modern version of organizing staff at the workplace in the organizations, but in contrast, Personal management is the old-fashioned approach for managing the staff at the workplace.
- Human Resource Management emphasizes the selection and recruitment process of the employees, procurement or withholding, encouragement, development of people working in the organization, but the key focus of Personal management is with staff relations, the welfare of the staff, and administration at the workplace.
- In HRM, people are the treasured and essential means for the attainment of set goals, and according to personal management on the other hand individuals are considered as assumed as a contribution to attain set goals at the workplace.
- Human Resource Management tackles administrative roles to fulfill organizational goals, but in contrast, Personal management aims to gratify the employees at the workplace.
- Jobs are designed by Human Resource Management by keeping teamwork and on the other hand Personal management design the jobs on the basis of division of labor.
Various routine tasks are controlled by personal managers at Tesco and they can be employed by personal management. Decisions are made by top management in personal management departments where the main focus is to satisfy the employees for better productivity. In contrast, the HR department has a concern about performance, effectiveness, and participation at Tesco. Managers at levels have the involvement to conduct strategic functions that are conducted in the HR department (Crush, 2010).
The human resource department hires qualified staff at Emirates, and there is motivation with the employees for getting attractive rewards. Right people for the right role are recruited and selected by Human Resource Management. Staff is provided with the required training. Employees’ relationships are developed.
