Greggs is one of the largest and well-known food companies in the UK. It is special in fresh and flavorful products, for example, desert items, sandwiches, soups, baked items as well as rolls of sausages. In Newcastle upon Tyne, the headquarter of Greggs is situated. In 1951, for the first time, Greggs plc was established. In 1970, Greggs tried to gain other local bakery chains over the country. It has become the famous food chain shop in the country. Greggs had 143 licensed outlets. It also had 1,764 usual outlets. In 2016, Greggs plc established 145 new outlets. It will give an opportunity to local people with 800 new jobs.
