This paper mainly discusses the way business operates. The result of the business is the harvest of the investments and efforts given by the business. There are different kinds of businesses. In every business, there are owners, workers, and customers. Customers are the most important shareholders of the business. In this paper, the company Tesco’s business operations have been discussed.
Tesco is one of the leading retailing companies in the UK in the current world. The first section of the paper discusses the business environment, type of business organization found in the UK, structure of the business organizations. The second part discusses the business functions. The third section explains the accounting workshop. The fourth and fifth section discusses the team and customer service in the company.
Task 1 –The business environment
1.1 The types of organizations found in the public and private sectors in the UK
According to Slide share (2017), there are two types of organizations found where a business is involved in the UK. They are the private and public sectors.
Publics sectors: public sectors are run by the government. The taxes paid by the public are used by the government to finance all the public sectors.

2. The different structures within the businesses in the UK
According to Slide share (2017), there are mainly three types of structures within the business in the UK. They are given below:
- Sole Trader
- Limited Company
This is one of the most usual structures of business that run their business online. In the sole trader, the owner of the business is personally responsible for all the debts and legal issues related to the business. Here, the owner can not share these with the other shareholders.
- It is very easy and simple to set the business.
- All the control and power is in the hand of the owner.
- This is not separated from the business entity.
- The owner alone will be responsible for the debts and the legal issues.
The partnership is a business is created between two persons or shareholders of the business. This is another structure for small businesses. Alike sole trader, this business is not separated from the business entity. However, for all the loss and debts and legal issues, both the partners are held responsible…………………
