2.1 Purpose of organizational communication
Organizational communication is very significant because this greatly influences three areas of a business organization such as customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and public perception (ER Services, 2018). The main purpose of organizational communication is to ensure the effective flow of information between the business parties by reducing dissatisfaction and misunderstanding. In addition, organizational communication has to be very clear or consistent across different communication channels. According to Poppulo (2018), the other key purpose of organizational communication is to make the communication effective because this brings a number of benefits such as increase business productivity, increase employee engagement, create better workplace relations and reduce staff turnover.

2.2 Principles of organizational communication
The key principle of organizational communication is to make communication effective. Several principles of organizational communication are pointed out as follows:
The principle of clarity: Communication information must be noise-free and must have a clear understanding and meaning. An unclear message is the most common barrier to making communication effective. It causes a delay in the communication process. So, the principle of clarity is very necessary for organizational communication (Francis, 2017)
Principles of Brevity: Communication information has to be sufficient because over-explanation and repetition demolish the communication message’s actual meaning. It lost its importance. So, the principle of brevity is also important in organizational communication.
The principle of Simplicity: Communication messages have to be transmitted by using simple words because complex work makes a barrier to effective communication. Simple or clear word in communication can be easily understood by the receiver to respond very quickly to the communication messages (Francis, 2017)
The principle of Timeliness: If organizational communications are made from time to time, communication becomes effective. If it is not made in time, it will create barriers to the communication
The principle of strategic use of Informal Organization: Effective organizational communication occurs while managers concentrate on the informal organization by using different formal methods of business communication (Rasel, 2017)
Principle of consistency: the communication messages have to be consistent with the goals and objectives of a business organization. As a result, this must not make confusion within an organization.
Principle of completeness: Organizational communication must be complete or adequate otherwise without the completeness of organizational communication it will not be understood by the receiver.
Principle of feedback: the principle of feedback calls for communication in the two-way process as well as giving opportunities for suggestions. As the receiver carries out as well as accepts several instructions, his reactions have to be known to the communication message’s sender (Rasel, 2017). However, the principle of feedback for effective communication is given back seat by the managers that defeat the key purposes of organizational communication………….
