It is important to analyze this concept to increase staff performance and productivity and improve organizational performance. Additionally, they must create health and social care users’ aware and create them perform in specific and potential behavior. The misunderstandings and misconceptions connecting to thoughts such as disability, health, behavior, and illness can damage the purposes of the service of health and social care (Emerson, 2015). How health, disability, and behavior and illness are related to health and social care are discussed below:
Health is recognized as the social, mental, and physical wellbeing. In another word, health is the absence of infirmity or disease (WHO, 2015). In addition, health refers to the source of everyday life and the positive concept of personal and social resources and physical capacities and capabilities. Ewles and Simnett (2009) said health refers to different dimensions and holistic which need to be considered. Bilingham (2010) described the health through two different models which are the socio-medical model and the biomedical model. The sociomedical model refers to a way of reaching health and illness which focuses on social and environmental issues impacting health, poor housing, and poverty. The biomedical model focuses on health and illness which focuses on the absence of disease. (Mechanic, 2014).

Three different disability models are existed, which are the social model, medical model, and tragedy model. Disability is therefore not present a problem of health. This is a difficult fact, revealing the communication among aspects of an individual’s body and aspects of the culture in that she or he lives (Jennings, 2016). Defeating the problems observed by persons with disabilities needs interventions to eliminate social and environmental obstacles (Bouras, 2009).
Illness is an individual issue that can differ from individual to individual on the base of individual emotion and perception (Emerson, 2015). Therefore, the thought of illness plays a significant function to analyze sickness and disease. The behavior of illness is explained as the method in that individuals check their bodies, explain and understand their symptoms, receive corrective action, as well as apply the health-care approach and numerous other resources of support (Emerson, 1992)…………………
