In strenuous situations, leadership has been a tough job all the time. However, in current days, the companies that face challenges in competitive markets are now looking for quality leadership. Even the normal activities done by the companies are constantly changing as a new confrontation. Northouse (2013) also added that competition in the market and demand in the market are always facing new challenges due to advancement and changes in technologies. As Hesselbein and Cohen (2015) suggest, due to these challenges, the companies are focusing more on reviving the belief in oneself, faith and positivity. They are searching for persons of a dynamic character who has the capability of rebounding back from a disastrous situation and still can be steady. Hesselbein and Cohen (2015) also added that they are searching for persons, who can help people to figure out the signification and encourage their self-assurance.
They are finding persons who will be able to make good relations with shareholders and will help to create a surviving company by inspiring and motivating the workers so that they can deliver excellent service to the consumer and give the shareholder a longstanding value. However, to create such leadership, the company has to focus on the source of the leadership features and their development. According to the definition given by Robbins and Coulter (2017), leadership refers to the procedure of having supremacy over the team or group and their functions to make them realize the goals and the objectives. As Robbins and Coulter (2017) notes, in accomplishing the job of the leaders, managers attempt to motivate the staff to work under their influence and give them instructions to work for focusing more and achieving the goals of the company. This motivational work of the managers is very significant and essential to increase the performance level of the company and accomplish the goal of businesses. In its optimal model, the leaders turn the followers into leaders by bringing significant and optimistic changes. According to the statement of Jung and Sosik (2012), to inspire the followers, increase their value and level of performance, transformational leadership acts through different activities. Bass (2010) stated that the activities transformational leadership does involve, creating a connection between the followers’ individuality and the companies’ individualities, presenting the leaders as the ideal of the followers, who encourages them, make the follower responsible for their duties and evaluate the flaws and toughness of the followers so that the leaders can guide them properly to achieve the objectives of theirs. Burns (2008) added that the person in the position of the manager should have these qualities.
