Introduction
This report elaborates on the survey methods to collect data for the research work. The report mainly focuses on procedures, standards for good practices, and the implications of surveys of various design decisions for the quality of survey data. In consequence, the goals of this report are to disclose the opportunity to design, conduct as well as analyze an effective survey of what SIC students think regarding the topic: an issue, problem, event, etc. Unlike the qualitative interview, this report focuses on the design of quantitative survey methods to allow the researchers to ask the same questions to a large number of participants in a way where participant’s responses can be compared with one another.
Phage 1: Questionnaire Design
Step 1: A research topic and dependent variable has been chosen first. The topic has been found out by asking a simple question to know the answer to What do SIC students think about Teaching and Learning at Sanjari International College (SIC). The dependant variable has been chosen as: “opinion about the quality of teaching and learning” at SIC.
Step 2: A particular research question has been identified based on the determined research topic mentioned in step 1. An independent variable has been chosen, which is mostly related to the dependent variable mentioned in step 1 as the researcher’s view. The independent variable is an opinion about the technology used to impact the quality of teaching and learning at SIC. This independent variable, then, has been included with the research topic to find out the research question. The research question has disclosed as “How is technologies used related to what SIC students think about the teaching and learning at SIC?”
Step 3: A questionnaire has been created which includes all of the measures of dependent and independent variables. It has also included several additional issues to emphasizes research questions and to make it less likely that the questionnaire format is bias the responses. Standard principles of questionnaire construction have been followed with a minimum to separate questions. The sample questionnaire is as follows:

Mission Statement
I am undertaking research work on SIC students as part of my course work. The aim of this questionnaire and survey is to analyze teaching and learning systems at SIC to evaluate how technologies used to impact the quality of teaching and learning.
This questionnaire is intended to streamline the initial presentation of information about the proposed research work and to facilitate the conclusion of the research done.
Thank you for taking the time to assist with the following questionnaire. Please provide the appropriate information to get an accurate idea about the proposed research work.
General Information
Research Title: | What do the SIC students think about the Teaching and Learning Systems at SIC? |
Research Description: | The research work will study technologies used in teaching and learning. Then it will justify they are impacting the quality of teaching and learning at SIC. Finally, it will recommend improvement in the way of teaching and learning in SIC. |
