According to Lang (2017), the communication process can extend mutual communication and there are mainly two types of communication. But with making communication with the shareholder one-way communication is suitable and one-way communication can be done via advertising in the newspaper or TV channels. But two-way communications is also necessary as talking with the shareholder in a two-way communication will help them to make a change in their views and perspective
While communicating with the shareholder understanding the target people is very much important. the possibility of the unsuccessful is high if the public or the audience has not been informed sufficient information within the proper time. This type of situation can be avoided if the company can keep a document of the shareholder and then inform them within time with proper information
According to Raihan (2008), communication can be done in 7 ways and the 7 ways can be categorized into two groups. A description is given below-
Formal Methods for Communicating
- Meetings: Meetings are usually done for formal communication within the company. According to the number of speakers and the number of audiences, a meeting can be held between one people to 100 people. In a meeting, every single minute is very important which needs to be used for communicating by using the verbal and nonverbal communication process. In the meeting, the communicator has to ensure that there will be no Ms interpretation if any message
- Conference Calls: Conference calls are being more famous in the current business process. In the conference call, the participants don’t have to required to travel from the places. It is very cost-effective and time-effective. In the conference call, the speaker can send dialogue which depends on the tone. Now a day’s conference call service is using in academic organization for taking effective classes so the student who missed the class can easily get the notes through the recorded class
- Newsletters/ Email/ Posters: Newsletter email posters are mainly a one-way communication process. The newsletter and posters are delivered through the newspaper, magazine, billboard, etc. Emails are given by using the internet. The advantage of these mediums of communication is they can target many audiences at one time. BUT there is also some disadvantage as there is no way to confirm that the audience got the message or read the message or skipped the message
Informal Methods
Both informal communication methods and formal communication methods are equally important. Only formal communication is not sufficient to have an effective relationship with the consumers and informal communication is also necessary………………..
