According to Johnson (2015) for developing their workers’ communication skills, several companies invest a sufficient amount. In this report, the reporter mainly emphasizes on the importance of the communication skill of the workers in the workplace and discuss the fact of “Overwhelmed with work”. Then, this paper discusses several communication models and types of communications in workplaces.
2.0 My friend’s real-life experience in the workplace
My friend has been working at a branch of Greggs plc which is a top food chain company in the UK. Nowadays his workload has risen up severely. As the workload is high he faces many difficulties to finish the work on time. His workload becomes double as he has been taken the responsibilities of the workers who are no longer in this company. There is no helping hand for him as no one is hired. For this reason, he becomes weak physically and mentally to maintain the workload. And it also creates a bad impact on his social and family life. In this circumstance, it is my opinion that the Greggs’ manager should communicate to him more efficiently for finding out the problems.

4.0 Communication models
4.1 Communication process model
The process of communication related to several elements such as senders, messages, receivers and feedback. The senders formulate messages through different communication channels (like verbal, telephones, voicemail, online, email, letters, and other media), where the receivers decode the messages and formulate feedback that is decoded by senders (EnkiVillage, 2016).
Advantages of the communication process
It increases the mutual gaze, which may help with understanding. In this process, the receivers have opportunity to present their opinions and senders understand the consumers that mean receivers’ demands and requirements basis on their opinions. The feedback is a very quick process via oral communications. So, decisions can be made quickly without any delay (EnkiVillage, 2016).
The disadvantage of the communication process
There are some disadvantages of this communication. If the channel in this communication is verbal then it can be quickly forgotten, especially if there are multiple points to consider. There is a lack of nonverbal communication (EnkiVillage, 2016)……………………….
