1.0   Introduction

SWOT analysis is the business analytical tool to find out the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats and impacts within the business. He stimulates the managers to overcome the failures and pressures. Like, when they launched their website, more previous managers needed to be trained to cope with the modern technology at the workplace for online business approaches.  This paper aims to discuss the various business context for Amazon’s business strategies and perspectives. Firstly, this paper analyzes the SWOT and PESTEL tools for the business situation of Amazon. Secondly, this report finds the strengths of Amazon’s business to overcome its weakness and threats. Thirdly, it explains the leadership styles and CSR models in the business operation of Amazon.

2.0 SWOT and PESTEL analysis for Amazon

SWOT analysis for Amazon

Amazon management uses the SWOT analysis tool to find out the internal factors that impact the business directly. The SWOT tool find the Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and threats for the business. The authority researched the strengths such as business logo, business card, software management and design. Social media marketing approaches, mobile marketing, email marketing, Facebook marketing, brand value, high valued products quality, products grade etc. that attract the customers significantly and trust over the business Amazon (Osterwalder and Pigneur, 2018). The customers deal with the business to purchase their international products as they sell international branded products. The high rate of emerging online business and imitation of the same products is the main threat to the business. The just-in-time inventory approaches by the Amazon management faltered in the coronavirus pandemic that caused the sufferings for the customers. The retailing operation is barely profitable as others side business doing well profits for their business.

 PESTLE analysis for Amazon

The political factors and government regulations, taxation system, eCommerce business policy, the customer-oriented delivery policy is some political factors within the Amazon Business that hinder the business largely. The fund management, remuneration system, permanent recruitment policies of the HR, economic inflation within the country, global financial crisis, coronavirus pandemic and impacts to the economy etc. are common economic components that may lessen the financial growth of the business. Socio-cultural development of the customers and their internet using capability are the influential factors to increase the demands of the Amazon Business. Customers are now using social media and mobile applications to purchase their products online. The standard life maintenance intention by the customers leads them to buy online from Amazon worldwide (Osterwalder and Pigneur, 2018). Environmental factors cover the refreshment enthusiastic approaches to satisfy the customers with their surroundings neat and cleanliness strategies. The management tries to keep the premises cleaned and, in the coronavirus, effects lead the authority to an extra preventive method for washing hands and free fresh from germs. They ensure scanners or thermal scanners to identify the body temperatures of the customers. Legal factors of the business are statutory laws and regulations by the local government and corporation, Stock Exchange policy, share price determination, several employment rights acts that impact positively and sometimes harassingly.

How the changes of PESTEL factors influenced the Threats and Opportunities in Amazon Business

The PESTEL factors are identified to influence the business functions within the Amazon business and internal factors like threats and opportunities. The political stability within several countries helps the online business and eCommerce business as the business process recruits more of fresh graduates as their online virtual assistant thus the unemployment problems in the country is decreasing (Digital Commerce, 2020). The government of the country provides incentives in several packages to promote the eCommerce business. Thus, Amazon is doing well in the global context of e-business. The opportunity increases by the economic consistency and sustainable development of the country as there the income of higher and middle classes people is rising significantly. The customers are now familiar with the online delivery systems and Amazon responds largely in this respect. The technology covers the online business largely. The Amazon business started their online business through affiliating by dint of the glorious inventions of internet and IT sectors worldwide. Information technology can help the company largely to promote their business on social media platforms. Legal firms and laws agent make statutes and rules for online business as there happen various deceitful incidents and fraudulent actions by the miscreants and hacking and cracking the personal information of the customers. Thus, this effort helps at the same time threats and opportunities for the business controls.

How Amazon is addressing its Strengths to negate Threats and Weakness affecting their Opportunities

Cybercrimes and hacking important data from the database of the business central hub of data storing can largely lead the business to risks and this affects the business definitely. The cybercrimes and cracking the software tools hinder the proper growth and development of online businesses worldwide. Imitation of strategic plans and innovation cause the business uninterrupted procedures and process functions within the Amazon business (Wales and Reaich, 2019). The authority applies the business analytic tools and advisory board to identify and select the solutions. Specialized IT sectors and skilled engineers in this respect can play vitally important roles to prevent website hacking and stealing information. The company has strong management and leadership structure to stabilize its process operation and business functions. The management hires designers to differentiate their products innovation to tackle the imitated products. The advisory board recommends the company apply marketing mixes theories to take competitive advantage. The competitors threatening the Amazon business, the authority takes innovative ideas and measures to establish cost leadership as to Porter’s generic model. The company finds the brand value to attract the customers largely and crate authenticity of their original products to the executed are of the business.
