1.0 Introduction
Recently corporate social responsibility is growing and businesses are giving focus on this factor. That is why much academic literature has been talking about CSR. The literature regarding CSR gives information about the core concept of CSR. The CSR concept is known as a set of the process which the firm uses for doing something good for the country. The literature review argued that both business and society is interlaced as society has some expectation about business and the business has to conduct some responsibilities for society.

2.1 What is a literature review?
According to May (2015), a literature review is mainly an analysis of books, scholarly articles other sources that are related to the topic. The analysis has been done in a systematic and compressive way. The main focus of the literature review is to figure out the current topic of literature to rationalize the research by revealing the gaps that are presented in the existing research. The investigation will give a proper summary and description and also will help to do a critical evaluation of the works which are related to the problem of the research. And here one should also add the overall knowledge regarding the topic and have to show how the research will be fit for the broad study field. The literature review does a critical analysis regarding the present research according to a topic and the analysis will be directed to the objective of the research.

The literature review is not similar to the book review and the literature review can be short or large manly based on the criteria of the assignment. One can easily do a good literature review by making a document of the process (Denscombe, 2014). The literature review can contain a summary of the key resources but the social science literature review holds organizational patterns and then mixes the summary and synthesis according to the conceptual categories. Here the summary is known as a recap which holds important information about the source but synthesis known as the reshuffling of the information to find the solution to the problem of the research.

Denscombe (2014) stated that doing a proper literature review means presenting the knowledge and opinions of the writers regarding a field of study which includes vocabulary, key points, theories, and methods. Doing a literature review helps the student to learn about the researchers and research groups. Doing a literature review helps to gather knowledge and ideas about the root information regarding a particular topic which includes strengths and weaknesses. The literature review aims to find out the agreement and disagreement regarding a particular topic (May 2015). The literature review gives perspective for the readers regarding a particular topic or subject area.
