Introduction
Organizational behavior is the study of staff behavior in an organization. Organizational behavior focuses on employee performance and their activities in an organization. The concept of organizational behavior is explained from an internal perspective and an external perspective. Organizational behavior also studies on how employee communicates in the workplace Mullins, 2015).
This report grouped into four major tasks. The first task describes the comparison and contrast of organizational structure and culture Primark to Microsoft. This section also focuses on the impact of the organizational structure and culture of Primark and Microsoft. Then, this section describes the factors that affect individual behavior in the workplace of Microsoft.
The second task describes the comparison of different leadership styles in different organizations. It also explains how organizational theory underpins the practice of management. It also evaluates the different approaches to management used by Microsoft and Primark.
The third task emphasizes the impact of the different leadership styles on employee motivation during the period of change at Microsoft. In addition, it also describes the different motivational theories within Microsoft. It evaluates the usefulness of motivation theory for managers.
The fourth task explains the nature of groups and group behavior within organizations. It also discusses factors that may promote the development of effective teamwork in organizations. Then, it also evaluates the impact of technology on team functioning in an organization.

Organizational structure
As Huczynski and Buchanan (2015) notes, organizational structure explains the way may managers activities to communicate and deal with the employees in the workplace. In other words, organizational structure focuses on the responsibility of the manager to gain organization. There are three major organizational structures. These are hierarchical, flat, and matrix structures. These are described as follows:
Hierarchical structure:
According to Mullins (2015), in a hierarchical organizational structure, workers are united with a staff containing one president. This structure is emerged in a few sectors, for example, products, geography, functions, etc. This is the governing structure of massive companies. Such as religions, governments, and corporations are containing hierarchical organizational structure with several altitudes of dominance, capacity, and management.

Matrix structure
According to Mullins (2015), in a matrix organizational structure, the describing correlations are established as a matrix or grid. It is a variety of organizational administration in that staffs have equal proficiency. These are supplied for work actions. This structure needs more managers.

Horizontal or flat structure:
According to Mullins (2015), in the flat organizational structure, compact companies receive this structure. The start-up in its untimely phase. It is not possible to use this structure in the biggest organizations with several staff and projects. The most significant thing about flat structure is many levels are dispelled. The qualified staffs make decisions rapidly and separately.

Organizational culture
According to Mc Lean and Marshall (2013), organizational culture is the connection of policies, attitudes, beliefs, values, traditions which combines a diffusive framework for all staff in companies. As Huczynski and Buchanan (2011) note, there are four types of organizational cultures. These are described as follows:
Power culture
According to Mullins (2015), A kind of organizational culture where the middle model training control on an individual base usually establish in little industrial company as well as depends on faith, acknowledgment, or individual connections to be extra efficient. There are comparatively a small number of regulations or strategies as well as small administration……………………
