1.0 Introduction
Leadership for any kind of organization is very important to lead the organization with sincerity and integrity. This paper aims to describe various management structures and suited one for Skinnydip. Secondly differentiate between the role of a leader and the functions of a manager. The report applies different theories and models of approach in leadership in the third section. Fourthly, the report critically evaluates different contemporary theories on management and leadership.
1.1 Overview of the chosen organization (Skinnydip)
Skinnydip is a private limited company which registration number is 07499836. The registered office of the company is at 30 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1Y 2AB. Though the business leads online they launched 16 standalone stores across the country. The company has two pretty pink Nail Salons at Brent Cross and Carnaby Street (SKINNYDIP, 2020). They collaborate with The Simpsons, Disney, SpongeBob and many more to serve their loyal customers. The business was first started in 2011 by the Co-founders James, Lewis and Richard. The company is basically serving up the most quirky and fun accessories, lifestyle products and clothing for all ages and classes to love and enjoy all year round.
1.2 Management structure of Skinnydip
There are various management structures generally applied in the business organization. According to Corwin and Ciampi (2020), Flat Organizational Structure, Functional Organizational Structure, Product Organizational Structure, Geographical Organizational Structure, Divisional Organizational Structure, and Matrix Organizational Structure etc. are some common types of management structure. In the flat structure, there are few or no levels of middle management between executives and staff. Organizational functions are divided into smaller teams based on various specialized categories like IT, Marketing or Finance in the Functional organizational structure. Skinnydip as a medium-sized entrepreneurship business can apply the flat organizational structure within its workplace. Here the executive of the business directly controls the staff and other personnel like shareholders, suppliers, and deliveries.

Definition of a Manager
According to Bergeron (2018), a manager is a person performing specific responsibilities or managing the whole business of a farm or organization. A manager performs managerial functions of an organization having definite power to maintain discipline, to hire, fire, monitor attendance etc. The managers are classified as their varied responsibilities and functions within the workplace like Upper management, Lower management, and Middle management.
Definition of a Leader
A leader is the person appointed in the charge of a specific sector or a team, the person who persuades other people to follow by his activities, policies, moralities or only for the obligation (Bergeron, 2018) set by the business company. A great leader stimulates confidence among the workforce and motivates the subordinates to take on challenges in their mission. He convinces other people and changes them to action. He can find the inner talent of the follower and pull it out into behavior and action. He makes the dream true for the people.
2.2 Differences in roles and functions with reference to different situations
A manager in a company performs various roles like informational roles, decisional roles, and interpersonal roles acting as a figurehead, coordinator, leader, spokesperson, and monitor etc. On the other hand, a leader performs within a business to motivate the people divided into smaller teams or groups (Bergeron, 2018). There are some differences between the role of a leader and the function of a manager such as follows:
